“We have learned to love ourselves, so now I urge you to ‘speak yourself”
Kim Namjoon, UN General Assembley Speech
I don’t think my blog is quite what RM had in mind when he asked us to speak yourself, but small steps I think make for an easy journey. I will be adding more blog posts on how I fell down the hole but as it’s concert week, I’m afraid you will all have to follow me on my journey to London for now to see BTS at Wembley Stadium. If there is anyone new to all of this, I’ll add a little glossary at the end, until I’ve got a little more time to go more in depth on who these guys are etc.
Excitement is building in our house as BTS has landed in London and the concert is fast approaching.

Love Yourself, Speak Yourself tour kicked off in May at The Rose Bowl, Los Angeles to a packed crowd and as much as tried to avoid videos so I wouldn’t be spoilers.i couldn’t help myself and I saw an epic video of a drone flight over the crowd, and wow! It looked beautiful and amazing.
We have been counting the days to the concert, slowly awaiting out turn. The children have broken up from school, I have had my last day at work and after a huge amount of procrastinating, tweeting and YouTube videos, we are all packed and ready to go.

We are spending a long weekend in London to see the concert and do a bit of sightseeing as a family, so the whole weekend is going to be very exciting but also very tiring.
I didn’t really get twitter until I started to fall for BTS’ charms, and now I am completely under their spell, I find I want to check it every day. Social media is a huge part of being an ARMY, their interaction with fans is immense, It’s not hard to understand why they have been made top social artist for the past three years running at The Billboard Music Awards. So in between packing, I have been keeping a relatively close eye out, as since we believe they landed in London, we haven’t heard much at all. I hope they are resting or seeing some of London’s beauty.
Thankfully, we had confirmation they are due to appear on Britain’s Got Talent this evening, and we even had a very cute “cheers mate” from RM (Namjoon).
His ability to change his accent wherever he is, is really cute and adorable, and his English is wonderful. I love their songs, the dancing and their energy and it has never bothered me that they are a Korean group. I am a believer than music transcends languages. If none of them could speak English, it wouldn’t bother me one bit. The fact they all try to speak English and other languages of countries they visit, is testament to how awesome they are, it is truly a mark of a good person to put this much effort in. I love this as I always try to speak the language of the place I am visiting as I think it is hugely important to build good, positive relationships. So to see these wonderful and humble men trying hard to show all ARMY’s how much they appreciate them, well I have no words. Excellent role models for my children.
I had a hard time getting tickets for me and the kids originally and ended up paying quite a bit for some, but we don’t mind because at least we are going. As I was feeling quite sad though, I went looking to cheer myself up and there are so many fan organised events and competitions. I love the charity ones, BTS are very generous when it comes to Charity and I am so glad this is passed onto fans. I donated to a few pools for different charities and even though there was a slight chance I might win some goodies or something, it was actually just nice doing something for others.
In the lead up to this week, we have been watching lots of music videos, streaming Boy with Luv, as I think it would have been wonderful to have it back in the top 40 for the weekend, I don’t know if it’s possible as I don’t fully understand the whole top 40/ streaming/paid songs thing, but we tried in my house.
We also started watching Run BTS episode and we almost finished the American Hustle Life series, but not quite but it’s all good because we will need something to do to help cure out post concert blues we are sure to get next week.
My two love to dance so we have also been practising some dancing and I’ve got to admit my two are impressive when it comes to Dope!
But we are all a little bit in love with Anpanman and the choreography and it must really be a sight when all three of us are dancing in my living room. We live on a main, very busy road and you can see directly into our window. I often wonder what everyone thinks as they drive and walk past, I imagine they are thinking what a strange family. I don’t care enough to stop though! 😂 We love dancing around the living room. I also enjoy oversharing about my new found love for BTS, which I also imagine must leave people thinking I’m a bit strange, but most of my frailty and friends have gotten used to my quirky ways and I would like to hope they love me for me. I won’t be changing anytime soon, so I bloody hope so anyway!

I’m not sure I will have time to blog over the weekend so it might be an update after the fact but you will be able to follow me on twitter and Instagram over the weekend sharing tweets, photos and videos.
If you’re going to the concert, maybe see you there! I’ll be in a GO GO tshirt! Whatever you’re doing this weekend, make it awesome!
Here’s a sneak preview of a furtive blog post about my slowly growing collection.

If I don’t get chance to write, see you on the other side 💜💜💜💜💜
